Happy New Year to all our members and their families.

It seems no time at all since the September AGM, but much has happened.

The Melrose Camp, was I believe, a great success thanks to Corry, the committee and those who attended. We are looking to possibly holding Melrose as a hands-on camp again this year, and I am looking forward to the experience.

Our son’s wedding in November was down at Mount Gambier. This gave me the opportunity to meet up with the members of the Mount Gambier Knitting Club, and share a lovely lunch and some knitting ideas. Thank you MGKC.

We are looking forward to a busy year this year. Our first camp for the year is at Victor Harbor in April. More information and the forms are in this issue of our newsletter. We hope you will all consider taking part in this camp. We have a lot of fun and get to meet up with members we only see at camps. If you have not attended a camp before, or have not been for a while, give attending this one another thought.

Later this year we have an overseas demonstrator to look forward to. Watch for more information, dates, times and costs.

Last year we did not take part in the Quilt and Craft Show in November. I would like us to be a part of it this year. If we are to be there, we need to start thinking about what we would like to show to the public. If you would like to help in any way, please let me know.

Happy knitting.

President
